Myopia Management in Low and Middle Income Countries – Introduction

Myopia management in low- and middle-income countries is an important public health priority as rates of myopia continue to increase, particularly among children and young people. This introductory course explores the growing burden of myopia, the factors contributing to its development and progression, and the challenges faced by communities with limited access to eye-care services and trained professionals.

Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of early identification, appropriate management, and prevention strategies for myopia.
